We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in integrating, testing, and validating requirements for mission critical systems. These tasks will be carried out using Agile methodology, requiring the candidate to collaborate with the Agile team to plan, execute, and showcase capabilities continuously throughout the Agile cycles. General Responsibilities • Collaborate with development teams to integrate software components and subsystems into a cohesive system. Ensure seamless interaction between different software modules. • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements and specifications. Define testing strategies to validate system functionality, performance, and security. • Conduct thorough testing of integrated systems, including functional, performance, regression, and security testing. Identify and document defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate repetitive testing tasks. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and testing processes. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices. • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of testing activities. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, design specifications, and customer needs. Provide technical support and guidance during system integration and testing phases. • Ensure that all integration and testing activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Required Skills • Proficiency and proven experience in Java (e.g. Spring Boot Microservices). • Experience with Unit, Integration, E2E testing and automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber) • Experience with software security and container scanning tools (e.g. Fortify, Sonarqube) • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services related offerings (e.g. SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elasticache). • Familiarity with containerized orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes and Helm). • Familiarity with Agile Product Development Cycle, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern DevSecOps practices. • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment. • Looking for a good team-first culture fit and interest in one or more listed technologies and areas. • TS/SCI or TS w/ SCI eligibility (potential CI Poly may be required, not necessary at time of hire).
