Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has openings for Manufacturing Analysts/Principal Manufacturing Analyststo join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position requires on-site support located in Melbourne, Florida where technology and teamwork come together. Please Note: This position is on-site in Melbourne, FL and cannot be performed remotely due to the nature of the role The selected candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment. Job duties: Assisting in structuring and maintaining bill of material, develop and maintain work instructions (including 3D visual work instructions) that meet manufacturing processes and procedures that are in compliance with customer requirements, implement detailed sequence of operations and specify procedures needed for product builds, investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements relating to work instructions and identify improvement opportunities through sequence optimization with Manufacturing Engineering concurrence. Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. We seek Associate Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach and act as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the Aeronautics sector.

This requisition may be filled at a Manufacturing Analyst / Principal Manufacturing Analyst based on the qualifications below. Basic Qualifications Manufacturing Analyst: Bachelors degree and 1 years of related experience OR a Masters degree. Experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance environment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production. Ability to work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device for up to 10 hours / duration of shift. Occasional extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
Basic Qualifications Principal Manufacturing Analyst: Bachelors degree and 4 years of related experience OR a Masters degree and 3 years of related experience. Experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance environment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production. Ability to work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device for up to 10 hours / duration of shift. Occasional extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrical cable manufacturing. CAD experience (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) Experience working with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Bill of Materials) Active in-scope DOD Secret security clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years

Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
