Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator 4 to join our Aeronautics Systems HR organization, a team that is critical to the sector's success and the development of a positive workplace culture. This position is located in Melbourne, FL and will be based on-site, in-office. Northop Grumman offers a variety of flexible work options to accommodate the personal needs of our employees. This role serves as a key resource for the AS Sector Functions Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will provide support across a variety of human resource functional areas including: employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, human resources policies and procedures, and metrics/reporting. The HR Coordinator will work on a variety of projects, supporting the entire HR team with administrative tasks and responsibilities to ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The functions performed by this role also include assessing processes for operational effectiveness as well as providing operational support to the HR team. The individual in this role will work very closely with HR Leaders and Partners providing quality support to the business. Specific job responsibilities include: Manage, track, and process data and systems requests Assist with development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives Collect and compile sensitive and confidential talent-related metrics and statistics and prepare reports and presentations Manage team SharePoint & Teams Assist with employee communication initiatives and audits Research and reference policy/procedure Interface and collaborate with HR Benefits, Services, and sector and enterprise teams on problem resolution Plan team engagement and events The individual in this role may also serve on project or operational teams from time to time.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of administrative experience; may consider additional education in lieu of experience (Associate's Degree and 4 years of related experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & OneDrive) Passion for human resources, employee engagement, and the employee experience Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in human resources Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field Ability to work with large data sets Project management skills Advanced Microsoft Office of Microsoft 365 skills Workday or similar HR Information System experience Proficiency scheduling and leading meetings in Zoom and Microsoft TeamsSalary Range: $50,500 - $84,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
