Requires broad theoretical job knowledge. Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Ability to read and understand schematics and troubleshooting circuits Experience troubleshooting and repairing computers and handling ESD-sensitive equipment
Experience writing test and repair procedures Experience working with vendors on warranty support Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
Nice to Haves:
BS in Industrial Engineering
Experience providing support to DoD/FAA customers.
Experience updating ticket systems and asset tracking databases
Equivalent experience in advanced Microsoft Excel query building and data mining skills
Job Description:
We are currently seeking to hire an Associate, Engineering Services to support Logistics and Integrated Product Support. The candidate will be responsible for depot-level support, shipments, returns, repairs, asset management, and technical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to drive results and maintain strict compliance with industry regulations while creating detailed technical documentation on computer systems and individual components to support maintenance and sustainment efforts. The location for the performance of this program is Melbourne, FL. Employee must be located on site.
Interfaces with multidiscipline team to provide Integrated Product Support.
Creates work orders for depot repairs and maintenance activities and reviews activities with engineering technicians and management.
Diagnose hardware issues on enterprise servers, disk arrays, monitors, and computers.
Troubleshoot failures using multiple OS platforms to include Windows, Cisco IOS, Linux, and Unix.
Provide guidance to on-site technicians during quarterly preventative maintenance tasks.
Reviews, and handles shipments of parts, consumables, and items from the depot facility.
Interface with Operations Center to provide logistical support for fielded systems.
Performs inventories of assets, material, and government property on routine basis.
Authors FAA technical manuals and training for operational, instructional, and service procedures.
Develops briefings and metrics for bi-weekly and monthly program reviews.
Participates and leads professional discussions in technical interchange meetings, and program reviews.
Provides backup support to the Depot manager and program leadership.
