THE ROLE:

Ensure the agency complies with state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida-specific home health care regulations and ensure that all policies and procedures reflect current legal requirements.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring efficient delivery of care to all patients.
Manage and optimize internal processes to ensure high levels of service quality and operational efficiency.
Lead, hire, and manage the home health care team, including nurses, therapists, aides, and administrative staff.
Foster a positive work culture that encourages professional development, teamwork, and accountability.
Develop and manage the agency's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
Monitor billing, reimbursements, and payroll, ensuring timely submission of claims and managing expenses within budget constraints.
Implement and monitor quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Conduct regular audits and patient care reviews to assess and enhance the agency's performance.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Previous experience in home health care management or leadership role preferred
Can consider a Director of Operations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Commercial acumen
