We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Pool Operations Supervisor to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! As part of our diverse resort, which features a range of food and beverage options, we are seeking a skilled leader to oversee our three full-service pools: a family pool, an adult-only pool, and a private club pool.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Pools & Restaurants this role will be responsible for leading the recreation operation with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional five-star service.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the pool operation meets the resort's target customer needs, ensuring employee satisfaction, and focusing on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Addressing and resolving any guest complaints or issues related to the pool area.

Delivering exceptional services to our pool areas, ensuring the equipment maintenance is up to date, cleanliness of the area and proper service.

Remaining highly visible in the operation, providing recognition, promoting good public relations, and taking care of special requests with dedication to providing an attentive and distinctive experience for our guests.

Upholding the resort's standards of luxury and hospitality by providing personalized service to all pool guests.

Anticipating and addressing guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

Coordinating special events, poolside dining, and other guest activities to enhance the overall guest experience.

Conducting training sessions for pool staff on safety protocols, customer service standards, and operational procedures.

Monitoring revenue generation through poolside services, rentals, and membership fees, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal of all pool areas, including surrounding landscaping, furniture, and amenities.

Coordinating with the resort's facilities management team to address any structural or mechanical concerns affecting the pools.

Ensuring that all pool facilities and operations comply with relevant health, safety, and accessibility guidelines.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to pool maintenance, inspections, and incidents.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury resort or hospitality environment, with specific experience in pool operations preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.

Knowledge of pool maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and industry trends.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet operational requirements.

Knowledge of service standards

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
