We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent for a ground-up airport hangar construction project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale airport construction, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Description

  • Oversee all construction activities related to the building of 3 ground-up airport hangars, ensuring the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or construction issues.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout all phases of the project.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

Profile

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent, with at least 5 years in airport construction or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ground-up construction, particularly with steel structures and aviation-related projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and solve complex problems under pressure.
  • Proven experience in ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on construction sites.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and clients to achieve project goals.
