Architectural CAD Draftsman

A leading Architecture and Interior Design Firm, who is dedicated to creating innovative and functional commercial and multi-family spaces, is seeking a talented Architectural CAD Draftsman to join their team!

As an Architectural CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming architectural concepts into precise and detailed drawings. Your work will be foundational in the development of commercial and multi-family projects ensuring accuracy, compliance with building codes, and seamless integration of design elements. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to bring vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities of the Architectural CAD Draftsman will be creating technical drawings for commercial and residential structures based on architect's sketches and other documents and models.
• Interpret and incorporate design specifications, building codes, and other technical documents to produce accurate 3-D models.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design challenges and ensure project feasibility.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings and documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technology.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience as an architectural draftsman is required.
• Associate's or Certification in Architectural Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field.
• American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of building design, specification, codes and structural analysis.
• Knowledge of construction documents is a must!
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
