Job description


Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Staff Accountant for our consumer goods client based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. You will be responsible for tax compliance, preparation of the financial reports and statements for audit, revenue and fixed assets reconciliation and for supporting the month-end closing process. Role is in-office in Deerfield Beach.



Financial Reporting:


Prepare and review financial statements and reports for local and corporate management.



  • Compiles information and prepares spreadsheets for internal and external statement preparations for financial institutions and external auditors.



  • Prepares reports for corporate and local purposes (quarterly dashboard, sales update, business plan reports, management review reports, variance analysis, etc.)



  • Prepares monthly reports on SAP performed transactions concerning A/R, A/P, Accounting, vendor maintenance, etc.


Accounting:



  • Monitors the company credit card transactions including proper accounting, reporting, updates to credit card limits, new credit card issues, training to employees, etc.

  • Performs bank reconciliations for all companies.



  • Assist the closing process by performing closing and recurrent journal entries and others as assigned.



  • Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts as needed. (Pre-paid Purchases, Miscellaneous accounts, and other accounts)



  • Issues of non-inventory credit and debit memos



  • Issues of miscellaneous invoices



  • Updates changes to vendor information in SAP as requested by treasury and purchasing.



  • Work on special projects per management's request.



  • Prepares local and corporate financial statements for other smaller companies.



  • Assist with tax compliance for Sales tax.



  • Documentation and continuous update of accounting and policy manuals.



  • Provide support to operations



  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.


Requirements:



  • Bachelors degree in Accounting and 4+ years full cycle accounting experience



  • Advanced level in Excel and Microsoft software.



  • SAP or ERP system experience preferred.



  • Fluent in both Spanish and English preferred.



BASE SALARY UP TO $72K DOE PLUS BENEFITS
