Job description

Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Project Coordinator on the Cocoa Campus in Cocoa, Florida.

This position performs various technical, analytical, and administrative duties requiring knowledge of institutional policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with federal and state laws and guidelines. This position performs functions that impact registration, graduation, record integrity, verification of enrollment, reporting systems and exemplary customer service. Specific responsibilities include student information system job submissions, student records updates, enrollment reporting, upgrade testing, training, and registration issue resolution.

The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:

Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum two years experience with maintaining records in an educational institution preferred.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, database reporting tools, video conferencing and scanning software.
Experience with Banner student information system preferred.
Possess strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in an ever-changing environment while consistently meeting critical deadlines and works well under pressure.
Be flexible in dealing with changes in policies, procedures, and organizational structures.
Ability to be forward thinking, student-centered, and solution oriented.
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy, sound problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty, using knowledge and logic to resolve issues and respond to complex requests.
Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operators license required. For individuals unable to obtain a drivers license, a valid Florida ID is required. Employees and/ or volunteers unable to obtain a Florida drivers license, will not be allowed to drive any college vehicle, golf cart or any other motorized vehicle on college property.
This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fee (currently $37.25). This fingerprinting fee ($37.25) is non-refundable.

Official transcripts of all collegiate work will be required to be considered beyond the application phase.

High School Diploma or GED or transcripts or official transcripts of all collegiate work (as appropriate for the position) must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All foreign degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.

Minimum physical qualifications:

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to access, input and retrieve information and/or data from a computer.
Works inside in an office environment.

The annual salary is $37,162. Successful internal candidates for external job postings should be aware that their current salary does not transfer to the new position. Salary will be as advertised in the job announcement. Full-time employees of Eastern Florida State College receive fringe benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan.
