This is a full-time position with flexible days and hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Feather Sound Country Club, centrally located between Clearwater, St. Pete, and Tampa, offers a premier private club experience with a Joe Lee Signature Championship Golf Course, top-tier tennis facilities, pools, upscale dining, and a variety of social events. Established in 1974, the club provides members and guests with a range of amenities, including a Jr. Olympic-sized pool, event spaces for up to 250 guests, and scenic views, making it the perfect venue for weddings, corporate events, and more.
Summary:
The Facility and Maintenance Specialist is a skilled and professional worker who specializes in carrying out various jobs and projects at the companies' buildings, including but not limited to, performing repairs and maintaining the properties.
Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of services and repairs for multiple locations
Performs routine and scheduled maintenance of properties, including building exteriors such as walkways, roofs, parking lots, etc.
Must have more than general knowledge of plumbing, A/C, electrical and general construction
Responds to emergency service calls when directed by employer or office staff
Prioritizes work to complete assignments in an efficient manner
Submits bids and estimates on job lists and projects as requested (material and labor)
Performs routine inspections of properties to check for maintenance problems
Completes daily work record forms and job assignment sheets, written and/or electronically
Keeps track of and reconcile receipts for approved items purchased for each job
Directly supervises any assistants and subcontractors working on a jobsite as needed
Reliable transportation with room for equipment and materials is necessary

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the Facility & Maintenance Specialist must be able to perform each duty and responsibility in accordance with company standards.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in several industries (e.g., HVAC repair, plumbing, carpentry, construction, etc.) is desired.
Education:
A high school diploma or the equivalent required
Licensed electrician preferred
Computer Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office and email is required.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, push, lift, and pull. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and vibration.
