Overview:
The Data Quality Analyst will help ensure that the data for reporting and analytics is accurate and reliable. The role will rely on continuous monitoring, assessing, and improving the accuracy and completeness of the data overall. The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for timely data audits and, when anomalies or errors are identified, will work closely with the greater team to fix and re-validate the data. Overall, The Data Quality role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the data, resulting in increased trust in reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Asses, document, and communicate potential data quality issues.

Actively facilitates data cleansing and enrichment by identifying errors, inconsistencies, and redundancies in the data and providing recommended solutions to rectify.

Ensures completeness and accuracy of data through validation of new and existing data sources.

Develop and maintain data validation procedures for new and ongoing data sources.

Manage master data management (MDM) tools, ensuring consistency and timely updates to the data.

Maintains detailed documentation of data collection and dependencies.

Establishes detailed root cause analysis for data quality issues and appropriately communicates all details to teams for resolution

Qualifications:
BA/BS in Finance or other analytical field

1-3 years of professional experience in Finance or Analytics

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management regarding the implementation of changes

Restaurant/QSR, Retail, or Multi-Unit experience preferred
