FOR OUR CLIENT:> THEY are a nationwide tax and prestige wealth management financial services company looking for a Full-Time experienced Tax Accountant for the Bonita Springs, Florida office. The Tax Accountant is expected to perform a wide range of duties for this tax office focusing on small business and individual tax clients. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A TAX ACCOUNTANT IN A PUBLIC ACCOUNTING PRACTICE this is NOT remote NOT hybrid. Excellent employer and career potential.

RESPONSBILITIES:

Organize and maintain corporate financial records for several companies

Tax accounting for individual clients and businesses

Prepare Individual, trust and estate tax returns

Prepare Corporate and Partnership tax returns based on financial statements from accounting software

Make adjustments to books based on tax return

Record journal entries for depreciation and new purchases of real and tangible property

Prepare of Tax based Financial Statements

Answer inquiries and research on tax questions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

Minimum seven years' experience preparing taxes and providing accounting, payroll and bookkeeping services

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience; EA or CPA Required

Experience with Accounting CS, Ultra Tax CS and Fixed Assets CS

Experience working directly with clients and ability to clearly explain accounting and tax matters to clients

Knowledge of sales and payroll tax laws, payroll practices and applicable regulations

Professional, courteous and concise communication skills; active listener

Ability to pay close attention to detail and make rules-based, analytical decisions

Highly organized and proactive thinker able to meet deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession.
