Salary Range - 65,000 to 70,000 Clearance - A successful candidate must have an active "Top Secret" clearance to be considered. JOB SUMMARY: The FBI Historical SME / Visitor Services Representative plays a key role in providing support to the FBI Experience, an education center offering visitors an interactive look into the FBI through multimedia exhibits and artifacts. The Representative is responsible for delivering a welcoming and informative experience to the public, enhancing the visitor's understanding of the FBI's mission and operations during their self-guided tour. Assist The FBI Experience by providing VSR services Monday through Friday, during regular business core hours: 8:00 a.m. ' 5:00 p.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a welcoming and interactive experience for visitors, engaging them in conversations about content throughout the tour route. Serve as the primary representative of the FBI, fostering trust and confidence in support of the agency's mission. Escort visitors, including large groups, through the FBI Experience, adapting to changes in visitor volume. Guide visitors through the tour, explaining exhibits and answering questions accurately and professionally. Collaborate with the FBI Experience Operations Manager to coordinate tours efficiently and ensure a seamless visitor experience. Maintain exhibit spaces in a presentable manner and assist with special events or material preparation as needed. Report any suspicious activities to designated FBI officials. Operate IT equipment related to job responsibilities and assist with other duties as assigned on low volume days. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Active Top Secret Clearance is mandatory. Minimum of one year of public speaking experience with strong verbal communication skills. Proven ability to convey key messages to diverse audiences and an interest in educating visitors. Strong problem-solving, customer service, and leadership skills. Organizational skills including planning, scheduling, and time management capabilities. Interest and ability to acquire extensive knowledge of history and facts. Experience in handling large groups of people and managing challenging situations tactfully. Previous experience in a law enforcement environment is preferred.
