Responsibilities Content Development: Draft, edit, and finalize technical content for Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), white papers, and Statements of Work (SOW).
Develop and maintain technical documentation that accurately represents MBSE and DE methodologies, processes, and technologies.
Integration of Technical Insights: Collaborate with engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather, interpret, and integrate complex technical details into clear, concise documentation.
Ensure that the technical content aligns with current engineering standards and practices.
Documentation Quality: Review and refine technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Implement feedback from internal stakeholders and SMEs to enhance documentation quality.
Process and Methodology: Apply best practices in technical writing to create structured and user-friendly documentation.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in MBSE and DE to ensure documentation reflects current practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Facilitate workshops or meetings with SMEs to gather necessary information for documentation.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all documentation meets organizational and industry standards, including compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Maintain version control and manage documentation updates as required.
Qualifications Educational Background: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in technical writing or engineering are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on MBSE, DE, or related engineering disciplines.
Proven experience in drafting technical content for RFIs, RFPs, white papers, and SOWs.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of MBSE and DE concepts, including modeling languages, tools, and methodologies.
Familiarity with engineering principles and systems development processes.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Markdown, LaTeX).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and integrate feedback constructively.
Additional Attributes: Experience with technical content management systems and version control.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical writing and documentation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
