Job description

This position is contingent upon successful contract award. SPAARK, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Technician to support the technical counterintelligence mission for the Counterintelligence Branch. This position is located at the Pentagon. Perform routine inspections of office spaces to detect and neutralize any unauthorized surveillance threats. Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure thorough inspections. Accurately document all inspection activities and findings. Maintain detailed records and logs of daily operations, ensuring clarity and completeness. Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates. Prepare written reports in the PFPA-SSD report format within five days of the investigation, detailing findings and recommendations. Manage and operate advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment. Analyze signal data, resolve detected anomalies, and manage a signals database for historical comparison of signal threats. Provide advice on neutralizing threat signals based on analysis. Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as mandated by PFPA. Assist in TSCM investigations, including instrumented and physical searches of all possible signal transmission mediums and communication network systems. Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies governing the workplace. Complete mandatory training, including Information Assurance (IA), Cyber Awareness, Antiterrorism (AT) Level I, and OPSEC awareness training within the required timeframe. Support the PFPA by executing coordination/completion of various business matters proactively. Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan to ensure performance standards are met. Provide briefings to senior DoD executives and policy decision-makers as required. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Certified graduate of the Department of Defense TSCM Service School or Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course. Minimum of two (2) years of specialized TSCM experience. U.S. Citizen with DoD Top Secret/Secret Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance. Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon. Valid driver's license, without special restrictions to operate Government-owned vehicles Proficiency in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
