We are currently looking for an experienced Sr Angular Developer - Java candidate for a role on one of our Federal projects in Washington, DC. Federal Client Requires US Citizenship Key Responsibilities: • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• As part of an agile team, researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• As part of an agile team, designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Provides software development services and applies experience to implement new initiatives
• Provides implementation and technical support services.
• Provides technical support and responds to technical issues, researches and resolves problems and other non-programming technical services. Requirements:
• Federal Client Requires US Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams working on Angular JS upgrades.
• Experience developing against relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• At least 8 year of development experience using Angular (Version 8 and higher)
• 5 years of experience working in an Agile team development environment using Jira or a similar tool
• 5 years of experience working in an automated development environment, using CI/CD tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Experience working with Microservices and APIs
• Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
• 5+ years of experience writing automated unit tests
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team player and ability to mentor developers with lesser experience
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps environment. Desired Skills:
• Experience developing in and deploying to a Cloud environment (such as Amazon WebServices)
• Experience with Ruby on Rails • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar tools
