A week in the life of a Software Engineer III: Collaborate in designing and shaping architecture to meet project goals Develop user interfaces, automated workflows, data repositories, charts, and dashboards Identify and recommend improvements to streamline business processes Gather requirements and align technical solutions with business needs through stakeholder communication Job Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, or equivalent experience DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP) 8+ years of software development experience 3-5 years' experience in data analysis and reporting Extensive experience with Jira/Confluence administration, including user permissions, workflows, and custom dashboards Skilled in data mining, pattern recognition, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools) Familiar with Agile practices (e.g., Scrum/XP) Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases Experience in RHEL Linux administration, including system updates and troubleshooting Coding experience with front-end (HTML, JavaScript) and back-end (ASP.NET, C#, XML, JSON) languages Knowledgeable in data transformation and preparation Strong project and time management abilities with skills in capturing requirements and translating them into technical solutions Regularly discuss future technical capabilities with leadership and help plan new website features and improve program functionality AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $160,000- $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
