Software Developer
TS/SCI with FSP Catalyst is looking for engineers who are passionate about solving real-world problems and helping deploy ground breaking technical solutions to solve those problems for our customers. We help our customers detect insider trading, improve disaster relief, fight healthcare fraud, and more. Each mission presents different challenges, from the regulatory environment to the nature of the data to the user population. FSR Engineers work to accommodate all aspects of an environment to drive real technical outcomes for our customers.
As an FSR Engineer, you will help develop a solution in full, from high-level system design and configuration to application development and data integration. You will leverage everything around you: core company products, open-source technologies (e.g. GHE), and anything you and your team can build to drive real impact. In this role, you work with customers around the globe, where you gain rare insight into the world's most important industries and institutions. Qualifications: • Educational Background: Strong foundation in engineering, ideally degree in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with core technical concepts, including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks. Also, familiarity with technologies like Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, or Azure. • Programming Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar. • User-Centered Approach: Understanding of how technical decisions directly impact user experience and product outcomes. • Self-Driven and Adaptable: Ability to continuously learn and improve, work independently, and make informed decisions with minimal supervision. • Agile Mindset: Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities; able to adapt quickly and collaborate closely with users to iterate and enhance solutions. • Collaborative Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members.
