Overview POSITION TITLE: Senior System Engineer (SCCM) GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ NSD - National Security Division POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD LOCATION: Onsite in Washington, DC BENEFITS: Health, Dental and Vision, 401(k), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 11 Paid Federal Holidays, PTO, education reimbursement POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to be submitted for a DOJ SCI prior to starting employment; SCI process can take 3-6+ weeks to complete. Responsibilities Provisions, Administers, Monitors, and Maintains End-point Service across two classified enclaves. Responsible for system operations inclusive of hardware, operating system (OS), and utilities on all servers and computer systems. Has expertise in multiple operating systems and is responsible for configuration, patch management, troubleshooting, all versions and sub-version upgrades, and all aspects of the availability of servers and systems. Maintains Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and ensures its ongoing health and viability for the underlying systems. Carries out updates when required, utilizing patches and new builds to maintain the security of all devices across the network. Responsible for working with Vendors of COTS / GOTS applications to ensure proper functionality. Acts as Tier 2 response in operations environment where resolution cannot be handled by on-site Tier 1 staff. Maintains practical and workable solutions to clients' technical and business problems. Analyzes requirements and potential solutions for technical and economic feasibility. Competent to work on multiple phases of complex projects independently. Qualifications Technical ( Expert knowledge and a minimum of 5 years of experience with the following technologies are required ) SCCM Expertise; preferably version 2303 Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10 Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy Endpoint imaging Personal Skills Excellent spoken and written English language skills Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Being responsible, detail oriented, and hard working Ability to manage projects and distribute workload for self and other team members Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with 2+ years additional experience Microsoft certifications, preferred Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain DOJ SCI, required WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Standard office environment; ability to lift 25 pounds.
