My Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in federal government projects to lead and oversee the successful delivery of SCIF projects at the Pentagon. Description

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of federal government construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and effectively communicating project updates and addressing concerns.

  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with field personnel, office staff, and senior management to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with company objectives.

  • Estimating and Budgeting: Prepare accurate project estimates, manage budgets, and track expenses to ensure financial goals are met.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports, while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

  • Problem Solving: Identify potential project challenges and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.

  • Design-Build Familiarity: Utilize expertise in design-build projects to facilitate collaboration between design and construction teams for optimal project outcomes.

  • Security Clearance Management: Ensure adherence to security protocols and maintain necessary security clearances for project personnel and operations.

  • Software Proficiency: Utilize project management software, such as Procore and P6, to enhance project tracking, communication, and overall efficiency.

Profile

  • Experienced Professional: A seasoned project manager with at least 10 years of experience in federal government construction projects, particularly in interior work.

  • Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DOD security clearance; TS clearance is highly preferred.

  • Educational Background: Holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business.

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and present project updates.

  • Client-Focused: Proven track record in client-facing roles, adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality project execution while adhering to specifications and regulations.

  • Team Leader: Demonstrates strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members while coordinating cross-functional teams.

  • Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software such as Procore and P6, as well as design-build methodologies.
