Job description

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Counter-Proliferation Analyst (Forward Footprint) with an active Top Secret counterintelligence polygraph clearance to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The Counter-Proliferation analyst will be responsible for conducting all source analysis on nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare efforts. The contract is pending; anticipated award is August 2024. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct all-source analysis of foreign conventional, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs in support of U.S. counter proliferation efforts. Produce analytic assessments for the JC, DoD, and other U.S. and allied Government agencies and coalition forces on counter-proliferation, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare topics, arms control, exploitation program planning, development, and execution. Perform supply chain vulnerability analysis as well as procurement needs for conventional, missile, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs. Understanding of JP 2-0, JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206. Minimum two years experience providing operational support to one or more SOF units or commands. Minimum one year of experience in forward deployed locations assigned to a SOF unit. Minimum of five years of experience with the military planning cycle and tactical ground operations. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development. Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and four-to-six-month deployments to OCONUS locations. You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends. REQUIRED Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph. Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience. Bachelor's degree. CWMD Intelligence Analysis experience Supply Chain Vulnerability Analysis experience. Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. EDUCATION Bachelors Degree, but will consider years of experience. CLEARANCE Active/current DoD Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.
