Job description

Cybersecurity Project Manager Certification: PMP with CISSP or CISM Delviom LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team in Ashburn, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various cybersecurity projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining compliance with federal regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects in cybersecurity domains including security compliance, vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, and risk management. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and technical domains, including vulnerability management and risk management.
• Responsible for continued growth and diversification of the cybersecurity services to current and potential clients. • Working with the Government COR, onboarding staff for new contracts and leading the transition team during the initial transition phase
• Ensure regular and timely communication to all key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and risks.
• Manage project issues and risks to resolution, implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential threats to project success.
• Maintain and foster internal and external customer relationships, ensuring alignment of project objectives with statement of work deliverables.
• Plan and manage resources effectively to ensure all projects meet scope and budget expectations.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects, including developing program baselines and identifying program risks.
• Certify all phases of the risk assessment process, ensuring alignment with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) standards, Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements, and compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
• Organize and visualize team work, ensuring action items and milestones are fully documented, being worked satisfactorily, and completed as planned.
• Track Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) past performance information and support Project Managers with CPARS responses.
• Act as a problem solver, assessing requests, determining necessary tasks, and organizing the team to successfully accomplish the work.
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of security programs. Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines and budgets.
• Demonstrated expertise in information security principles, practices, and regulations, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework (NIST RMF).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Experience in assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the team's success in achieving project goals.
• Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as PMP and CISSP or CISM or CISA
• Active Top Secret (T/S) or Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and reports.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.
