Description:
Powder River Industries, LLC provides technical services across the entire system development life cycle (SDLC). As a prime, we are responsible for complete end to end system management for a customer's mission system. This includes a data center, integrated logistics support, COOP, and disaster recovery. As a subcontractor we are providing services from: DevSecOps, software development, network administration, systems analysis, database administration, storage engineering, hardware engineering, Tier 1 - Tier 3 support in traditional data center environments (bare metal frames), cloud, and hybrid cloud. The cloud environments we are operating in today are AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle. Role & Responsibilities:
-Execute project management tasks -Provide situational awareness of program activities, manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization, consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensure conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. -Communicate and contribute to strategic and tactical direction including executing a risk management strategy for the program. -Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
-Actively engage other organizations on collaboration efforts that ensure that we deliver the best product and solutions to the customer.
-Manage and conduct operational execution and financial aspects of contract deliverables, cost (including price data), and schedule to achieve all key performance indicators, service level agreements, and annual operating plan commitments. -Provide operational oversight, coaching to front line leaders, mentoring and developing of staff and succession planning for the program to include conducting performance management. -Maintain the growth and brand recognition within customer spaces. -Develop employee base to achieve high degree of employee retention and performance including managing KPIs and performance management. -Manage organizational compliance within company and customer policies and procedures. -Identify and lead opportunities for improvement and efficiency. -Conduct personnel management including timecard accuracy. -Ensure training and all mandatory tasks are completed on time. -Through personal example, set the tone and direction for moral and ethical leadership for the program. Continue to build a culture grounded in company values, beliefs, and expectations and highest standards of ethical and respectful behavior. Promote improved transparency and cross-group collaboration. Technical Environment: Microsoft, Linux, Splunk, Ansible, Tenable, GEMS Non-negotiable Requirements:
1. Top Secret with investigation current within the last 5 years
2. On-site, no remote
3. Travel required - will always be coordinated in advance Nice to Have:
1.) PMP or at least a PMP boot camp is desired 2.) Education: years of experience are more important than degrees.
