Job Title: Procurement Data Standards SME Job Category: IT Location: DC-area offices of the Chief Digital and AI Office in Falls Church, Pentagon, Alexandria, and Arlington. The Procurement Data Standards Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data standards related to procurement processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure that procurement data is accurately captured, standardized, and integrated across systems to support the organization's strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities: Identifying new data sources or updates to existing data feeds, as well as required changes to Common Data Model to allow for better data integration between FM and Procurement data Gather and record requirements from users: Meet with stakeholders and gather requirements to create tools used by both FM and procurement stakeholders leveraging the combined data sources for those communities, as well as develop a backlog and priority for implementing requirements
Work with Data engineers to set up gold tables to feed applications: Identify business rules and validate data requirements to best support building of applications
Work with user community to review and update backlog of requirements as identified
Regularly collaborate with the Procurement and FM community users to identify additional requirements and applications that support user needs / groom backlog regularly based on CDAO guidance and needs of users
Collaborate with additional functional areas within Advana community to determine how procurement data can be leveraged outside of FM and Procurement communities
P2P Process experience
Knowledge of Federal accounting practices
Familiarity with FMR and DFARs
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience: 7+ years of experience working directly with EDA/WAWF and PIEE data or core feeder systems Experience with least one of the major General Ledger systems: • P2P Process Experience within one of the aforementioned systems or major contracts writing systems
Certifications: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
