Responsibilities: Syntelligent is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Policy Analyst with a TS/SCI clearance for upcoming work with a federal client in Washington, DC! Syntelligent is seeking policy and governance professionals to execute oversight responsibilities and provide first-class policy management services. These professionals will improve governance and quality of policy documents for our clients. We have a team that aims to adapt, design, deliver, and integrate advanced technology solutions to improve data sharing, exploitation, and analysis. As a Policy Analyst, you will interpret business needs and project requirements and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges. You will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data solutions for specific use cases. You will also perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations. Qualifications : Active TS-SCI clearance Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Political Science or International Relations, or related degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 4+ years demonstrated policy and requirements management experience. Solid understanding of the policy development, analytical tradecraft, and change management process. Experience working with technical POCs to translate operations concept, system and product designs, and requirements into developing policy documents. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team. Experience drafting, reviewing, and coordinating policy requirements across various stakeholders. Proficient organization and communication skills. Comfortable with daily client engagement. Preferred Qualifications : Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle. Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Experience in policy development and experience providing technical direction and clarification of requirements to data science, data analysis, data engineering, integration and test teams in a predominantly Agile environment. Experience working with systems engineering functions including operations concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control. Knowledge of and experience working in requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Agile Manager, etc.). Policy and Governance experience on a large government software or data analytic development contract. Responsibilities : Interpret business needs and project requirements as it pertains to policy, governance and data management. Work with Privacy and Civil Rights / Civil Liberties offices to ensure compliance with oversight responsibilities. Analyze and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges. Work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data governance and policy solutions for specific use cases. Perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations. Occasionally (as needed) support to off-hours deployment such as evening or weekends. Create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies. Partner with a government product owner and a product team of 7-8 FTEs. Develop and maintain artifacts. The likely salary range for this position is $100,000-108,000 per year. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
