Job description

The PMO Support role is responsible for assisting the Project Management Office (PMO) team in managing project governance, tracking progress, and supporting the administration of projects across the organization.
The individual in this position will help coordinate project activities, maintain project documentation, and ensure adherence to project management standards. Duties:
Support Project Managers in tracking and managing project schedules, resources, budgets, and risks.
Assist with project documentation, including preparing reports, status updates, and meeting minutes.
Monitor and maintain project dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates for project tracking.
Help facilitate communication between stakeholders, project teams, and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Ensure compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and tools across the project lifecycle.
Assist in the organization of meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics.
Manage the administrative aspects of projects, including filing documents, tracking project progress, and updating project plans.
Assist with resource allocation by coordinating with various teams and departments.
Support the risk and issue management process by identifying, documenting, and following up on risks and issues.
Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives related to project management practices.
Assist with the preparation of project-related presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior management. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, is a plus but not required.
Previous experience in a project coordination or support role is a plus.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of risk and issue management processes. Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a PMO environment.
Understanding of budget tracking and financial reporting for projects.
