Job Number: R Mission Systems Engineer

We're looking for someone like you to help our Air Force clients meet their mission by applying your systems engineering and project management skills, supporting national security delivering solutions for a DoD operations center, and remote communications sites delivering system interoperability. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also lead their evolution through planning and coordination. In this role, you'll manage the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. You'll shape this classified mission by supervising 3+ skilled technicians working closely with clients to lead the transformation and integration of hardware, software, and applications across a variety of IT systems such as networks, systems, switches, routers, servers, monitoring, EO/IR cameras, sensors, and cross domain solutions. You'll plan, coordinate, and manage system upgrade projects. You'll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference. Ability to lead teams performing IT systems management, sustainment, and projects implementation
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in systems and network engineering and administration, or 10+ years of experience in systems and network engineering and administration in lieu of a degree
CompTIA Security+, or 8570 or 8140 Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with air defense mission systems, including Battle Control System - Fixed (BCS-F), radars, EO/IR cameras, and AOC mission systems such as AFJS, AFFS, or ERSA
Experience with RMF, ACAS, STIGS, and systems cyber hardening
Knowledge of the Homeland Defense air defense mission set, and related policies, processes, and systems
Knowledge of USAF best practices for hardware, software, and cybersecurity
Top Secret clearance
CCNA, CASP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
