Job description

Evolver Federal is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Manager to satisfy a requirement for a potential government client. Responsibilities The IT Infrastructure Support Manager will work directly with the PM and Deputy PM to execute all project duties and will be responsible for: notifying all management and leadership of all significant IT operations and application development issues.
overseeing and managing the IT Infrastructure team with the purpose of ensuring optimal performance and delivery- these activities include training, mentoring, and leading the team through resource allocation and management of workloads.
ensuring that all operations of the IT systems and design infrastructure architecture is stable and efficient.
the management and maintenance of on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure: servers, storage, network, and all other related technology tools.
providing guidance to all technical staff and will manage the development of project plans and schedules. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for working with technical staff to develop operational effectiveness through automation and continuous improvement.
developing IT policies and procedures surrounding security disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
staying up to date with new and relevant technology and use the knowledge when interacting with vendors and customers.
acting as the communicator between the client and technical teams.
collaborating with the information security team to verify that all infrastructure security controls are in place and working effectively. Basic Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
PMP or ITIL Expert certification
12 years of experience supporting and managing enterprise-wide IT projects - with a focus on on-premises and cloud platforms
10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure services
5 years leading teams of 3 or more individuals
3 years of experience working in a cloud environment Preferred Qualifications: Cloud Technology certification (mainly AWS)
Federal Agency experience preferred
5 years of experience hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
3 years of experience with Scrum/Agile Framework
3 years of experience with cloud services to include AWS, Azure, or private cloud
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
