Paid maternity leave Pay range: $32.00 - $46.42 Position Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining Intrusion Detection System (IDS) electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to: Knowledge of IDS hardware, software, and sustainment.
Proven skills working with or maintaining IDS on a customer site.
Maintain IDS electronic security systems including preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks.
Replacing and installing equipment at the customer sites in the National Capital Region (NCR) per design packages.
Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware. Providing on-site hardware commissioning and testing.
Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates.
Ability to work daily on the customer site; no remote work available. Responsibilities: Technical Tasks Daily checks of Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and gather IDS hardware information Proven experience with IDS devices and software
Ability to organize, input, and review work tickets
Analyzes inventory information and provides reports to stakeholders
Provide leadership with data analysis on inventory management and ticketing
Maintain, manage, and modify existing equipment on customer hosted information management system.
Upload configuration drawings updates into the information management system
Ability to pull reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and as needed
Create and maintain PM schedules in the inventory management system
Work with Senior Maintenance Technician and Project Leader on data inputs, schedule creation, and data analysis
Provide feedback on configuration change requests
Utilize templates for data input and suggest process improvements for inventory management Administrative Tasks Perform all duties with minimal direct supervision Organize and prepare detailed documentation on the inventory management system including reports, analysis reports, and performance reports.
Maintain large amounts of data with precision
Communicate with customers on site and maintenance team
Train system users and other system support personnel as needed Excellent problem-solving skills
Good analytical and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency Requirements: Be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with the US Federal Government. Work on site daily in the customer's environment Ability to maintain consistent core working hours Proven experience working with IDS systems such as Honeywell Vindicator, DMP, Future Fibre Technologies (FFT), etc Education: H.S. diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities Required Progressive Experience: 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs Work on site daily in the customer's environment Ability to maintain consistent core working hours Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy. Abilities Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.
Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
