Overview JOB TITLE: Senior HBSS Administrator - Top Secret Required GOVERNMENT AGENCY : DOJ NSD - National Security Division POSITION INFORMATION : Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD LOCATION: Washington, DC (onsite) POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain SCI prior to starting; can take 2-4+ weeks to process BENEFITS: Health, Dental and Vision, 401(k), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 11 Paid Federal Holidays, PTO, education reimbursement The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk. Responsibilities Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security. Provides support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems. Qualifications 5+ years of IT Security experience with recent expertise with HBSS tools A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required: Understanding of business security practices and procedures Knowledge of current security tools available Hardware/software firewalls and their implementation Different communication protocols Encryption techniques/tools Familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience. Security Certifications, plus SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Active Top Secret, required. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
