Executive Secretariat and Audit Support Specialist (15.18) OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. Responsibilities and Duties OCT currently has an opening for an Executive Secretariat and Audit Support Specialist to work with our federal client, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Acquisition (OA). This position reports to the Mission Support Directorate Lead and Customer Service Support Project Manager. This position is contingent upon contract award. Day to day responsibilities will include: Developing and managing project plans, track tasks and schedules. Assisting the project manager in establishing team priorities. Supporting development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio reviews. Interfacing with senior levels of management. Supporting correspondence, taskers, Congressional Questions for the Record and Congressional Reports. Supporting and providing responses to Government Accounting Office and Office of Inspector General audit requests, and processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Providing acquisition related audit work as assigned to the Program Audits Information Division. Provide support with External and Internal Audits and related information requests and other related work as assigned. Assist the Government with preparing SES and headquarters level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support recommendations. Requirements:
Requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance; the investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check. Bachelor's degree in business-related field preferred. At least 10 years of experience in supporting the government with a wide range of administrative services. Ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making. Have experience and knowledge of the Government Accountability Office and Office of Inspector General audit requests and other regulatory and policy supplements and audit process. Ability to plan / organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required. Ability to interface with senior levels of management. Ability to review, provide, and explain redaction recommendations on the material that may be submitted in response to FOIA requests. Benefits:
