Job description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management. Develop and implement scalable operational strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's business goals and objectives, laying the foundation for long-term growth. Create, plan, and implement policies and objectives to ensure ongoing operations, maximize returns on investments, and drive productivity, with a focus on creating sustainable processes. Lead program and contract management efforts, ensuring compliant and successful delivery of contracted services, and effective coordination across projects to meet client and organizational goals. Oversee and strengthen client relationship management efforts, ensuring that operations align with client expectations and foster long-term, strategic partnerships that drive satisfaction and future business opportunities. Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all project teams and team members. As processes are established, this role will transition focus towards strategic oversight and continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and refine processes to optimize operational efficiency and scalability. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, integrating best practices into operational procedures to mitigate risks as the business grows. Manage and mentor the operations team, initially focusing on developing team capabilities and shifting to strategic leadership as the team becomes more self-sufficient. Directly and indirectly supervise twenty+ employees within the Operations department(s). Prepare and manage the operations budget, working closely with the Finance team to ensure financial targets are appropriately defined and met. Leverage insights for strategic decisions and long-term financial sustainability. Create comprehensive operations reports, tracking key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with objectives. Collaborate with HR on job descriptions, hiring, and training programs, initially focusing on building a strong foundation and later transitioning to strategic talent management. Assist with business development and proposal activities, providing operational insights to support growth initiatives and market expansion. Manage resource allocation across projects and departments, focusing on strategic planning to support long-term objectives.
