In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country. Successful candidates possess expert level knowledge and experience in designing, migrating, and implementing complex solutions as well as experience with migrations inclusive of a hybrid of public cloud and private cloud environments (Azure primarily). This position will be customer-facing and consist of a variety of delivery of business transformation technology projects, as well as providing consulting services for next-generation infrastructure solutions and projects as they relate to cloud solutions. Active Public Trust Clearance is required. Responsibilities Manage the continual operations and maintenance of systems operated in the Azure/AWS environment through the continual use of DevOps practices in an Agile Development environment.
Manage the migration of multiple systems from on-premises architectures to Azure based architectures leveraging Microsoft DevOps tool to deploy systems in an Azure/AWS environment. Responsible for developing/maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD Processes supporting Agile Software development
Lead program's Multi-cloud DevOps capability spanning cloud environments, cloud migration efforts, and modernization of globally used applications including the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline.
Testing and supporting a pilot of the services.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to both advise.
Develop & maintain Azure DevOps automation scripts
Directly interface with the client on a regular basis provide presentations from time to time.
Producing well written, technical detailed articles (documents) that are tailored specifically to the customer's environment, objectives and requirements. Skills Required 5+ years of comparable experience in an Azure DevOps Engineer
Current Microsoft Certification or be able to show proof of working towards obtaining one in the near future.
Possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively. This includes both verbally as well as written communications with particular emphasis on being able to produce well written technical documentation.
Able to work well with clients and team members of all levels.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD Processes
Good hands-on experience in Cloud Automation (Terraform, Ansible, Azure CLI, Chef)
Windows Administration and scripting
Should be able to design scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure services Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub Essentials Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience: 5+ years' experience
