Cyber Security Engineer- Top Secret Clearance 30% Remote
Arlington, VA

Role: The Cyber Security Engineer will implement and enforce department and industry standards for securing IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. Responsibilities: Enforce security standards for Windows servers and Active Directory (AD) across clients IT infrastructure.
Administer and manage the bureau's organizational unit (OU) security groups and distribution lists.
Utilize Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools (NetIQ Sentinel, Tenable Nessus, Splunk) for daily monitoring, detection, and event log analysis.
Coordinate and conduct vulnerability and compliance scans across all infrastructures.
Ensure the Information Security section of contracts addresses Federal and Department Cyber Security regulations.
Update contract language semi-annually or with major policy changes.
Establish programs to evaluate new technologies for compliance with Cyber Security policies.
Create features and user stories using the SAFe Agile framework within Azure DevOps.
Coach and guide the team in Agile (SAFe) practices and remove project impediments.
Lead the development of Division-level DevSecOps policies and procedures.
Qualifications: MS/BS degree in a related field
Top Secret Cleared and must be willing to work onsite. (50to 60% telework may be allowed at the discretion of CO)
3-8 years of experience in Cyber Security or related field.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices.
Experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability assessment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
