The ideal candidate will understand every element of government acquisition including proposals, contracts management, and subcontracting through close collaboration with HumanIT's leadership. This includes activities related to the full life cycle of the contracts/task order as a prime and subcontractor, from the initial proposal phase, through award and contract performance, to close out. Key Responsibilities: Provide full life cycle, proactive Prime contract and subcontract administration to support internal and external clients for DoD and civilian agencies to ensure adherence to processes, procedures, company policy, FAR/DFAR, and legal/ethical requirements Independently negotiate and administer contracts with the US and subcontracts with large and small business prime contractors across the breadth of contract types Serve as an advisor to internal clients regarding legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. Improve team's business acumen by contributing to process improvement efforts and working groups. Establish and maintain excellent internal and external client relationships, acting as liaison with customers' buying official and company's subcontractors for all proposal or contract matters, frequently communicating status and resolving open contract matters with Contract Manager, Program Managers, and Business Manager. Help to develop winning proposals such as reviewing solicitations to identify problematic or high risk contract terms and conditions and develop mitigation or avoidance strategies and developing effective cost and offer volumes and Intellectual Property (IP) and Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) plans Support negotiating terms and conditions, scope, cost and price of government contracts and subcontracts and Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements at assigned thresholds and applying risk mitigation tactics and customer and teammate strategies in accordance with company policies and procedure.Position Requirements 5+ years of experience with 1102 contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation with significant experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and within the services and manufacturing area Experience with Knowledge of applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other government regulations Experience with all contract types, including cost plus, fixed price, T&M, and incentive fee Experience with Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) terms and plans Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients through superior interpersonal skills Ability to support negotiating terms and conditions, scope, cost and price of government contracts and subcontracts at assigned thresholds. Strong knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Requirements (CPSR) requirements and compliance Strong communication skills to include effective written, speaking and listening abilities with experience working as a remote employee proactively communicating and collaborating virtually with Manager in an effective, timely manner Bachelor's degree Proficiency in using Microsoft OfficeAbout the Organization At HumanIT, we are driven by honesty, integrity and hard work.
