M9 Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work hybrid on a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC.An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities Define and communicate a clear product vision for our client's software products, aligning with user needs and business objectives. Write and test modular, maintainable, service-oriented, serverless code to execute on cloud infrastructure. Deliver quality software as part of a development team using the agile development methodology. Work with other teams to integrate new technologies as needed. Participate in architectural reviews and offer alternative architectural patterns to optimize application performance. Document processes and solutions. Work with the technical team to assess new customer requests, identify existing capabilities that may meet customer needs, and/or identify additional technology to meet customer needs that balances cost and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required. Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 4+ years of experience in cloud development, with a focus on one of the major cloud platforms. Proven experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Agile development experience along with related technologies (e.g., Jira). Demonstrable comprehension of key engineering concepts (e.g., load balancing, resiliency, backup, scaling, alerting). Significant experience architecting, building and maintaining capabilities in AWS. Significant experience architecting and working in systems Government-owned secure networks (e.g., NIPR, SIPR, A-LAN, C-LAN). Deep knowledge of security best practices, experience with cloud security tools, and working with role and attribute-based security models. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM Templates). Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle. Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Experience working in a Scrum based task / team structure.
Full-Time Employee Compensation M9 Solutions' pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
