The Opportunity: When a user tries new sof tware, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful sof tware development - and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof tware and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof tware possible. As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with developers to evaluate sof tware developed for law enforcement. You'll build a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you'll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the sof tware performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You'll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of data ingestion pipelines and APIs. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test the code. You'll also broaden your experience in big data and gain skills in new areas, including establishing an automation test framework while sharing your testing experience with your team. You Have: 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments Experience in establishing an automated test framework in a DevOps environment Experience with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium, and industry best practices to successfully integrate into a client development environment Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Selenium Experience with 508 Testing Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
