GDIT is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career.Responsibilities: Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets
knowledge of entering information into a database and has skills of data entry analyst
comfortable moving assets from one location to another client location
Serve as IT hardware asset management point of contact
Some moderately heavy lifting (of computer monitors, printers, etc.) may be required. Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, calculators, copiers, scanners).
Must possess strong computer skills - expert in Excel to analyze large volumes of data
Ensure request, incident, problem, and change records are accurate and complete, from creation to closure.
Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial. Regular use of phone and email for communication is essential
Other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC).
Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Previous experience in a similar role. A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with team members. • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. • Required: Experience: 5+ years of related experience• Required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Detailed Oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Experience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) suite. Ability to be on-site at a client SCIF located in Washington D.C. • Security Clearance Level:TS/SCI

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
