AR Specialist - Hybrid in DC

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is an association in DC whose goal is to empower and champion their members.
• Due to a vacancy, they are looking to bring on an AR Specialist in Washington, DC.
• The leadership team is dedicated to employee success and love to promote from within.
• Pay: $25-29/hr depending on experience. This position is temporary and can go permanent for the right candidate at a salary of $60,000 a year depending on experience!
• This position is hybrid (2 in, 3 out) on a 37.5/hr work week.

Overview of the AR Specialist role:

• Billing - prepare invoices and maintain an established billing schedule
• Payment Posting - credit, cash, check, & ACH
• Collections - B2B collections - monitor the aging - establish relationships with clients
• General reconciliations
• Ad hoc reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the AR Specialist:

• 3-5 years of AR experience
• Sage Intacct and Concur is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel skills are a plus
• Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail.
