As the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, you will be the cornerstone of this hospital's pharmacy operations, ensuring that every aspect of their services meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, from medication dispensing and inventory management to regulatory compliance and staff development. This Pharmacy Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and customer service. You will implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of medication safety and accuracy. Along with the Director of Pharmacy you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is also responsible for overseeing inventory procurement, storage, and distribution to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize waste, and optimize reordering processes. In this leadership role you will promote excellence in service delivery, patient engagement, and medication counseling, ensuring a patient-first approach in all pharmacy interactions.

To thrive in this role, you must have a Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with a PharmD preferred. You should have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including dispensing procedures, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in pharmacy management software. This Manager must also possess previous leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting.
