WANTED: We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (IV&V), with demonstrated experience supporting DoD requirements to join our team in Groton, CT! As a Senior Systems Engineer (IV&V), you will: Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines in Groton, CT. A week in the life of an Senior Systems Engineer (IV&V): Review engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and plans, Review system, software, and hardware test procedures. Witness Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities. Validate requirements. Audits of computer software units. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science field. Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Proven experience in US Navy submarine SCS. At least 10 years of experience in: Performing all IV&V processes and procedures, including the review and comments on test plans, test procedures, and test scripts. Fly-By-Wire (FBW) training and qualification and FBW certified formal U.S. Navy witnessing of laboratory testing at the developer's facilities Performing technical reviews of Software Requirements Specifications, System Specifications, Interface Requirements Specifications, and Requirements Databases; Performing ADA software code inspections and At-Sea Certification Trials of hardware and software Reviews of Program Trouble Reports (PTRs).
