Job description
As a Staff Assistant, you are a vital team member of the office providing administrative and client project support. Staff Assistants collaborates effectively with many colleagues and clients and plays a critical role in producing timely, high quality, error free client deliverables, internal support and marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- providing day-to-day support to Senior Vice Presidents, Consultants and other Office Staff;
- preparing thorough, high quality/error-free, and visually presentable documents (letters, memorandums, minutes, and other correspondence) as well as proofreading and editing;
- drafting and finalizing high quality, error-free presentations, editing valuations, create and maintain client contracts, and working with team members to finalize, compile and submit new business proposals;
- maintaining various databases/researching and gathering information, and providing marketing support as needed with conferences and coordinating with vendors;
- providing office support to include: answering phones, assisting with filing including scanning and saving documentation, maintaining appearance of office, processing mail, UPS, billing/financial assistance, and filling in when others are out of office;
- coordinating travel arrangements and assisting with expense reports entries and reconciliation.
- The candidate for this position requires a high school diploma - an undergraduate degree or some college experience is preferred plus 5 years of experience in a professional services environment.
- The Candidate must be a team player who takes the initiative while possessing strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to excel in an environment with quick turnaround, a demonstrated ability to prioritize the workload and handle multiple tasks, and meet multiple deadlines within agreed upon timeframes with mandated quality standards. Strong project management skills and producing high quality error-free correspondence are essential.
- This position requires critical and analytical, sometimes creative thinking, technical and proficiency with all Microsoft Office 365 programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,), and the willingness to learn new software and technology, as needed. In addition, the candidate must also have the ability to use and navigate the Internet for research purposes, having experience working with database and project management applications.

The current salary range for this position is $48,000 to $67,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
