Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research related to transactions, including statutes and case law.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions.
  • Organize and maintain transaction files, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Prepare for transaction closings, including coordinating logistics and documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the transaction process.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines for various transactions to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with financial due diligence by reviewing financial statements and projections.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3 years' experience in transactional work is required.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficient interpersonal skills including effective communication with both attorneys and other paralegals to accomplish goals.

• The ability to both work both independently and as part of a larger team.

• Effective problem solving capabilities.
