Locals ONLY Hematology Oncology Locums position in Longmont, CO - $500 hourly

Summary: Hospital recently opened a new hematology/oncology clinic with a dedicated chemotherapy treatment space for patients to receive their cancer treatment. Coupled with our Breast Center, breast surgery capabilities, and our external beam treatments in radiation oncology, this role will be responsible for the treatment of hematologic diagnoses and medical oncology diagnoses in our cancer center. Physician will be responsible for clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision 4 days per week. As a new clinic, this role is also responsible for building/growing this subspecialty practice.

Locals ONLY Hematology Oncology Locums position in Longmont, CO where Outpatient coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:

Schedule- One full time provider to fill the need but may be open to two

• Monday-Thursday, 8:00-4:30 PM
• Friday, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Remote Triage

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : MUST meet ALL submission requirements in order to submit.

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology - REQUIRED
• Active CO license - REQUIRED or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
• Active BLS, DEA - REQUIRED
• Candidate must be comfortable and willing to see Hematology patients - REQUIRED
• Must state # of shifts per month provider can offer to the site - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice/background - REQUIRED

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Setting: Clinic No Trauma/Not Rated
• FTE: 0.8
• Required Procedures/Job Duties:
• Facility recently opened a new hematology/oncology clinic with a dedicated chemotherapy treatment space for patients to receive their cancer treatment.
• Coupled with our Breast Center, breast surgery capabilities, and our external beam treatments in radiation oncology, this role will be responsible for the treatment of hematologic diagnoses and medical oncology diagnoses in our cancer center.
• Physician will be responsible for clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision 4 days per week.
• As a new clinic, this role is also responsible for building/growing this subspecialty practice.
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: MA, RN
• Census: Patient population, Adult, Geriatric; Number of beds, ; Admissions, Growing. Currently about 4 clinic patients per day.
