SEC Reporting - Student Worker

Job Description:

We are looking for a current student pursing a bachelor's or master's degree (accounting emphasis preferred) to join our SEC reporting team! This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to SEC reporting at a Fortune 500 company including SEC filing, SOX testing, financial statement review, etc.

This is a part-time position (20 or more hours per week) and will require you to be in-person one day a week.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Help prepare the company's financial statements, including preparing support, tie outs, and drafting footnotes.
• Develop communication skills by managing group reporting process across a large number of stakeholders.
• Test SOX controls.
• Assist with accounting research related to questions on US GAAP.
• Assisting with preparing support for other reporting projects as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree (accounting preferred).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on opportunities and manage time effectively.
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to own individual tasks.
• Ability to work well in a team dynamic and implement coaching/guidance.
• Interest in increasing technical knowledge and understanding of financial filing process.
• Prior work experience (professional/accounting experience a plus).

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: 1 day in office

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$22.50 - $27.50

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
