In return, we expect exceptional motivation, a high degree of independent thinking, and the ability to spot opportunities for optimization and growth.The CDP Technician is responsible for surveillance and overall upkeep of oil and gas compressor sites (including compressors, large horsepower engines, dehydrators, generators, tanks, separators, and controls systems). Under general supervision, this position prepares, maintains, and submits daily reports and records of daily gas and/or liquid volume, well pressure and volume of chemicals used, etc. assuring compressors, dehydrators and generators are up and running. Develops and applies an understanding of site issues.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform operational checks of assigned equipment and plant facilitiesRecord run time, fuel usage and operating parameters into systems if SCADA is unavailableConduct production tests and perform minor repairsPerform call out duties for down equipmentIdentify site alarms and work with automation to adjust alarms as necessaryCollaborate with engineers and Operations concerning compressor station activitiesGeneral lease site upkeep (fences, signs, weeds, trash)Communicates corrective maintenance needs to team leaderRepresent the Company in delivery/receipt of materials and equipmentMaintain regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Operations, engineers, team leader, area manager and safety teamsSecure and maintain all Company equipment, including but not limited to computers, vehicles, and analysis or test equipmentPossess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspectedProvide field wide contact with all personnel in the event of emergency or other significant occurrencesMaintain positive relationship with Local, state/province, and Federal representatives and surface ownersWork a regular 5 day/8-hour schedule with call outs on some nights and weekends High School diploma or equivalentOil and gas industry experience preferredLarger horsepower engine operations or maintenance experience is preferredPractice safe work habits at all timesStrong commitment to safety and environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work within a team environmentCreative individual, capable of analyzing and solving mechanical problemsPosition requires operation of company vehicles. Incumbent must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policiesMust be able to safely and effectively wear self-contained breathing equipment and work in an H2S environmentCompensation details: 0 Hourly WagePI605063bc85dc-4914
