PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Purpose

The Irrigation Supervisor is to maintain and demonstrate accuracy, accountability, and efficiency with all regards to controlling a fertigation system and sustaining the overall health of the grow facility. The Irrigation Supervisor will assist in leading the department and the team and driving results. It is essential that the Irrigation Supervisor be capable of operating the department, should the Irrigation Manager be absent for any length of time. Employees must be able to call upon the Irrigation Supervisor with any issue(s) that they may have. The Irrigation Supervisor is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

Pay for this role starts at $60,000/year

Essential Duties

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.

Leadership and Supervision
  • Manage employees, including developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
  • Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.
  • Establish initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company's standards of service and quality.
  • Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company's vision, mission, and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
  • Updating Irrigation schedule daily.

Work Environment
  • Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to: lifting, bending, and move up and down ladders throughout shift.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment to ensure systems are well maintained.
  • Keep doors closed when not in use.
  • Wear protective clothing when working with plants.
  • Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.

Other Duties
  • Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as gardening, harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
  • May be expected to cover additional shifts, including overnight and weekend shifts when necessary.

Supervision
  • Works under the direct supervision of the Irrigation Manager.
  • Supervises nonexempt employees.

Job Qualifications

Work Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a grow facility or similar environment.
  • A minimum of six months in an Irrigation Systems Tech position or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • No headphones.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
  • Must be able to secure respirator certifications.
  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Expectations
  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
