Job description

The Project Engineer should have 5+ years of construction experience working on commercial and/or federal construction projects. In this role, you will be expected to take the lead on change orders, project closeout processes, monitoring schedules, and procuring materials for the job site.

Description

The Project Engineer is responsible for:

  • Weekly site walks with the Field Superintendent, completing safety inspections
  • Track the quality and progress of projects
  • Distribute the correct documents and information to all parties involved in a project
  • RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders
  • Material procurement
  • Attend OAC meetings with the team

Profile

The Ideal Project Engineer:

  • 5+ years of construction experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred but NOT required
  • USACE Cerification is a plus!
  • Prior experience completing projects in the commercial, education, or federal markets
