Job description

Responsibilities

Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers. Accountable for generating reports, assisting with control activities, responding to data requests and developing/maintaining/supporting project schedules and/or detailed cost tracking. Coordinates with Project Managers to obtain weekly and monthly cost and schedule updates. Assist the Project Managers in providing accurate project forecasting and review of expenditures. Must have advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with Primavera P6, SAP Work and Asset Management required depending on additional job details. Familiarity with data analytics reporting tools preferred.

Scope

This role will be focused on scheduling. They'll be responsible for creating and updating Primavera (P6) project life cycle schedules.

Consultant will be meeting with different employees and various departments to provide/gather updates on activities and projects from the activities that are in the project schedules and gather vendor schedules and incorporate those into the life cycle schedules.

This resource will be supporting all of Energy Services. There are currently 4 other schedulers and approximately 20 specialists within the cost side.

Strong knowledge with P6/Primavera. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.

Skills

Targeting 5 years of experience in scheduling. Resource should have strong experience with P6/Primavera and understanding of the critical path method. Resource should also have an understanding of engineering/construction lifecycle scheduling within the oil and gas/construction generation renewables space.

Resource must possess strong written and verbal communication skills along with a willingness to work cross functionally with other teams.
